Uganda is a documentary and portrait series created during a three-month stay in Uganda in autumn 2025. Working alongside a local NGO dedicated to increasing the visibility of artists and creative communities, the project explored the intersection of culture, identity, entrepreneurship, and everyday life.

Through portraiture, documentary photography, and commercial imagery, the series offers a personal perspective on the people, stories, and creative initiatives that shaped my experience during this time. Rather than approaching the work as an outsider documenting a place, I focused on building authentic connections and portraying people with honesty, dignity, and curiosity.

The work included creating portraits of local artists and community members, documenting everyday life within the village where I lived, and producing visual content for an emerging fashion label, including imagery for its website and e-commerce platforms.
