Narcissus reinterprets a classical myth through a contemporary lens, exploring themes of identity, self-perception, and the desire for validation. The project examines the emotional tension between self-discovery and self-obsession. Set within a quiet natural environment, the series follows a solitary figure drawn toward his own reflection. As the boundary between reality and image begins to dissolve, the reflection becomes both a source of fascination and a symbol of unattainable longing.

My intention was to create photographs that feel contemplative and cinematic, balancing elegance with an underlying sense of unease. Water became a central visual element, functioning as both a mirror and a metaphor for the fragile relationship between identity and perception.

My Role

I led the creative development and execution of the project.
